“Yes, I completely agree that foods are the best and safest source of getting nutrients including vitamins, minerals and phytochemicals and the list is so long. We have all the food which can provide us all the nutrients so why should one go for these health supplements. If a person is not using a balanced food plan then he or she may not be receiving all of what they need and even in this case a health or nutritional supplement is not insurance.The bright fruits and vegetables are very good for health. The fresher and the least cooked are better foods. Avoid boxed or canned and precooked foods as well. Avoid many restaurant and junk foods.You can include a variety of the following foods and see how you can get all of your nutrients from the simple foods…
Carbohydrates: Wheat’s, sugar, grain cereals, jaggery and sweet fruits. Vegetables are deficient in carbohydrates.
